Energy Levels & Learning Effectiveness

A few students have mentioned that they typically don’t eat for a long period of time after having lunch at school. It can be much more difficult to study and learn effectively when someone feels hungry. I know it can be difficult to squeeze in a full meal between leaving school and attending the academy, but I would recommend to at least bring a healthy snack or two. Something like a sandwich with a piece of fruit can be eaten quickly and conveniently. Keeping energy levels higher will typically keep motivation levels higher, which improves learning and knowledge retention.

Also if someone often eats late at night, the body will naturally store more fat during the digestion process because metabolism typically slows down in the evening, and even more so when sleeping.
