Before I begin, I want all of my students to know that I recognize how hard you ALL are working, and I love and appreciate each and every one of you. You ALL are just amazing! Truly! With that being said, there are some students who continue to impress and stand out in different ways-- in their in-class participation, with their impressive vocabulary, their grammar knowledge, the fluency and great intonation and tone they use when they read, the care they take in completing their homework, their exquisite essays... So, for each class, I would like to give special recognition to those students who have stood out to me as excelling in some way, but again, I have to say and reiterate, that you ALL impress me so much. Every last one of you. Okay...
In ZEBRA class, I have been particularly impressed with the two newest students, Elly and Jenny, with their diligence in completing their homework, their participation in class, their diligence in taking notes, and their attentiveness. They are always on task, books out and open, homework out, and ready to take notes, and they are eager to raise their hand to read or offer an answer in class. Ruru and Sophia are very good when it comes to their participation as well, eager to answer my questions, and their vocabulary is impressive. GREAT job! 📢 Keep it up!
Next, in ZEUS class, it's impossible for me to point to just one or two students as the top ones because this class is just full of energy and animation, and you ALL try so hard. I know it and I see it! However, I want to give special praise to Andrew, Justin, Jia, and Wooni for your eagerness to participate and your willingness to raise your hand and TRY, regardless of whether you're right or wrong. You TRY, and that's what matters! I love it! :) And your vocabulary is truly impressive! I also have to give special praise to Rosa and Justin for almost always doing their homework AND for doing it correctly! Thank you! Keep up the GREAT work! 🎈
Moving on to META class,... again, you ALL are exceptional and impress me in different ways. Stella and Luna2 are always so creative in how they add extra color and flare to their homework or even their notes. Luna 2's homework always looks like a rainbow, and is done so neatly. It makes me smile every time. I love it! And Luna1, Joy and Lia are very diligent in completing their work and doing it with care as well. Thank you! I am VERY impressed with the two newest students, Joy and Julie, as well as Luna1 for their diligence, attentiveness, and beautiful tone and intonation when reading. Joy's voice, especially, is like music to my ears. Also, I have to compliment Steven for his creativity and originality in his writing, which often makes me smile, and Joe who keeps things lively. ✨
Next, in APPLE class, you all deserve praise. You all, Eden, Emma, Gina, James, Mason, Mini, and Zio are eager participants and are very diligent about completing or at least attempting the homework every time, and when I ask a question, you all raise your hands and are eager to participate. It's wonderful! 🎈 As for your essays, I am seeing improvement from all of you, and I see that you are trying, which is what every teacher wants to see. However, special praise goes to Emma and Mason for your stellar work and the thought you put into your writing. Thank you! Below is one of Emma's last essays to share and hopefully to inspire others going forward:

Next, in JUPITER class, special acknowledgement goes to Danny, Bella, and Nicky for their attentiveness, their diligence in completing their homework, and doing it well, for their word knowledge, their reading comprehension, their positive attitude in class, and for their excellent essays. Below I will post a sample of Nicky's writing to serve as an example to others. Thank you! Keep it up! 🏆

Moving on, we go to OXFORD class where, I know everyone is tired, as you're coming to my class late at night, after a long day at school, but you still make an effort, do your homework (most of you), and are attentive and take notes. I appreciate you. Special praise, however, first for essays, goes to Steven and Sally. Steven and Sally are exceptional in their writing and are attentive in making the necessary or requested corrections. Their writing leaves me smiling every time. I will include samples of both of their writings down below. I must also give special recognition to Steven for his EXCELLENT participation in class, always volunteering to answer when everyone else is silent. Steven's reading comprehension and vocabulary are also exceptional! Bravo! Keep up the great work! Please see Steven's and Sally's essays that follow...

And now, I move on to TITAN class. You're all excellent! Truly! I am impressed with you all. However, I would like to give special praise and recognition to, first, Hayden, for his stellar participation, his reading fluency and comprehension, and his exceptional vocabulary. Wow! Truly amazing! I would also like to give recognition to Amy, Ella, and Emily for your EXCELLENT essays! I unfortunately have only one sample to post, but all three of you are doing exceptional work! Hayden too! And I am seeing improvement in everyone's writing! Again, all of you impress me greatly, and I look forward to seeing more A-class work from all of you! Please see Emily's essay below...

Next, I have HARVARD, and Harvard currently has just one very exceptional, very diligent student, who is definitely worthy of note and recognition-- Lucia. Lucia is truly remarkable. GREAT attitude, positive, smiling, diligent, inquisitive, her homework always done and done to the best of her ability. When she doesn't know or understand, she asks. She takes notes, studies, and comes prepared to work and to grow. Top-notch student all-around! Bravo! Keep it up! ✨
Next, moving on to DUKE class, I have to give special praise to Joey, Amy, and Erica for their exceptional essays! While ALL of your are doing incredible work, in terms of your essays, these three especially stand out to me because not only are they well-written, but they are not formulaic in their structure or content. They include their own thoughts and show their true individuality, which I love. And I regret that I have only two samples of their writing to include below, one for Amy and one for Joey, but you ALL are excellent writers and impress me greatly! I say that with all honesty. And special recognition also goes to Amy for her diligence in completing the homework and her ability to answer questions during class. Thank you! I hope to see that from everyone!

And last but certainly not least, YALE class... special praise and recognition goes to Irene, Ella, and Ji-yu for your diligence, your consistency in completing your homework, your effort, and your participation in class. When I ask a question, you eagerly raise your hand and attempt to answer. When I write on the board, you are ready to take notes. Excellent attitude, energy, and drive! What I hope to see from all my students! Bravo! Keep it up! 🎈🏆
And now we have come to the end, but I once again want to reiterate how TRULY happy and impressed I am with ALL of my students here at Kate LA. I see and appreciate the effort you all put in and the individual flare you all bring to each and every class! You're all top-notch in my eyes. Keep going strong! ~~ 🎉✨🏆🎈
